Description
The Salzburg Grain Mill AMADEA – with traditional charm
The Amadea grinds all conventional types of grain such as wheat, rye, barley, rice, spelt, amaranth and einkorn quickly and easily from very fine to coarse. And, of course, fresh groats for a healthy breakfast cereal.
It is easy to adjust the fineness of the flour by simply turning the adjustment knob on the side, instead of turning the hopper.
If particularly hard and large grains such as corn or various types of beans are on your menu, the “Amadea” is not the perfect grinder for this.

Plastic instead of wood – no thanks!
At some point, it became common practice to use plastic instead of wood. But we at Salzburg refused to follow this trend right from the start.
.
The quality and design of the adjustment system in our grinders is ensured by an eccentric mechanism that ensures that the two grinding stones are always perfectly parallel to each other.
We preserve old values
Today, the path is often back to more nature and sustainability.
However, it is also interesting for us to note that science is once again confirming the justified value of natural materials.
Salzburg mills grind the way people have been grinding for centuries – with stones from nature, from granite.
Baking with natural stone-ground flour is an experience!
“It’s still flour” – that’s what old, experienced bakers say about the flour from our mills and rub it between their fingertips with relish.
