Description
The Carina mill is right for you,
if you use freshly ground flour for
- one or two loaves of bread,
- for a cake,
- for spaetzle or pancakes etc.
That’s exactly how it should be: no need for a large stock of flour in the cupboard, just quickly ground to the desired quantity, fresh and with all the vitamins to hand!
For the “handful” of flour that you always need in a healthy kitchen.
Carina is, as the name suggests, a real gem in the kitchen. Thanks to its simple, clear, round design, Carina will fit into even the smallest kitchen.
But you will be even more pleased with the baking results:
- Spicy smelling breads,
- delicious cakes and fragrant pastries will delight you.
- The use of fresh flour also noticeably enhances many other dishes, sauces and soups.
Even difficult recipes succeed with the fine, flaky flour of natural stone. That’s why it doesn’t matter to us whether the mill grinds 70 or 110 g of flour per minute – because speed is not a quality feature for our natural stone grain mills. Good things take time!
Carina is definitely the mill for the finest flour, with which even difficult recipes succeed – you could almost say: Carina is the fine flour specialist!
Grinding with natural granite stones:
People have been grinding grain with natural stones since the beginning of time. Granite is proven to be durable, hard and self-sharpening. We deliberately demonstrate this with the guarantee we provide.
Granite is pure nature – without any binding agents.
Foreign bodies, such as small stones, which could be in your grain, are easily ground up by the granite stones. We are not aware of any stone particles breaking off and getting into your flour.
Granite grinding stones can therefore protect your teeth.
The LEBENS-Mittel grain is ground as naturally as possible with organic granite stones.
Baking with natural stone-ground flour is a real experience! Crispy breads, fragrant cakes and pastries reward the miller for his work.
Healthy muesli for breakfast?
Home-ground grain provides a valuable basis for a nutritious breakfast.
The grinding chamber
is always made of solid beech wood, as beech wood best meets the high demands.
In the grinding chamber, the grain rubs against the side walls. This is why we do not use plastics in this part of the mill (except for the stone support).
We deliberately give preference to beech wood, as this wood has proven itself best for decades in terms of
- Elasticity,
- Abrasion
- and durability
has proven itself.
Unlike plastic, wood is antistatic and antibacterial.
The coarse-fine adjustment
is fascinatingly easy to operate with one hand!
You can also easily switch from FINE to COARSE or from COARSE to FINE during grinding using the rotary knob.
In contrast to a thread, the fineness of the flour is adjusted by raising and lowering the lower grinding stone.
This lifting and lowering system, which is similar to a vehicle clutch, changes the distance between the grinding stones and thus the fineness of the flour.
The millstones lie exactly parallel and flat on top of each other for decades and produce the finest flour.
The technically intelligent system has proven itself over decades.
In line with our philosophy, we do not use a standard plastic thread.
The 300-watt industrial motor
It is manufactured in Europe, generously dimensioned, and completely maintenance-free. The motors are durable and protected against overload. They are precisely matched to the size of the grinding stones.
Maintenance
The grinder requires no special maintenance.
The grinder can be opened with a Phillips screwdriver for occasional cleaning.
