    This flaker does its job well. It is a great space-saver also. I leave it on my stand mixer and put a silicone bowl cover over the hopper to protect it. So far I have only tried flaking oats, linseed and rice. Overnight oats has been my regular go-to. It makes delicious and healthy breakfast oats with linseed. In terms of operation, I definitely need to stand by it and move the oat groats and linseed (which I put in together) around every so often to help the rollers grab the groats and seeds and pull them into the roller area. So, it is not a set-and-forget style. But that doesn’t bother me. I also hold my bowl up close to where it comes out to help prevent flakes from bouncing out of my bowl. Not necessary, but helpful. I have not adjusted the pins as the tightest setting works well for rolled oats. I have also not needed to clean it yet as I use it regularly and nothing has become stuck. So, I cannot comment on cleaning. Overall, I am pleased with this device and have been using it almost every day for my overnight oats recipe. My household has also been enjoying it. We have noticed that the flavour is so much nicer than store-bought rolled oats. It is satisfying to know that we are consuming the healthiest version of rolled oats we can. I would recommend this flaker.
